As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll be the face of our brand, creating exceptional customer experiences, building relationships, and driving sales through genuine product knowledge and enthusiasm.

Please do not apply if you do not have retail sales experience in food, specialty foods, gourmet products, or home goods.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Be the subject matter expert regarding products and promotions
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase overall sales.
• Create and post content to increase brand visibility and revenue
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized retail sales floor and storage areas, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with management to achieve sales targets and provide feedback on customer preferences.
• Demonstrate basic retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and promotions effectively.
• Must have a reliable, full-sized vehicle (small SUV or larger) to transport product and supplies to and from local farmers' markets and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds or more.
• Set Up, break down, and restock market booth.
• Meet and greet a ton of great people at the farmers' markets using retail sales strategies, engaging them to sample and purchase our wide variety of delicious flavors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail sales environment is preferred. If you do not have previous retail sales experience, please do not apply.
• Previous Farmers Market experience a Plus
• Social media experience preferred. Candidates should be comfortable creating photos, videos, reels, and posts that showcase products, drive customer engagement, and support sales growth.
• Strong hospitality skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base, but are not required.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting store products is highly valued.
